About Yomirika
Yomirika is an iPhone app designed to help people study Japanese vocabulary through short sessions, spaced repetition, pronunciation and widgets.
Educational Purpose
Yomirika is a vocabulary learning tool provided for educational purposes. It does not guarantee language fluency, examination results or passing any Japanese-language proficiency test.
JLPT Independence
JLPT is a name associated with the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test. Yomirika is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the organizations administering the JLPT. Its vocabulary classification is third-party and is not an official JLPT vocabulary list.
Yomirika Pro
Yomirika offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions. Free use includes a limited portion of the vocabulary collection and the standard learning experience. Pro unlocks the full vocabulary collection available in the app and premium widget formats. Available subscription plans, prices and terms are shown in the app.
Auto-Renewable Subscriptions
Subscriptions are purchased through Apple. They renew automatically unless you cancel according to Apple’s rules. Apple handles billing, payment processing and refunds. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account settings.
Free Trials
An introductory free trial may be offered with an eligible subscription. Eligibility and availability are determined by Apple and StoreKit. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, an eligible trial converts to the corresponding paid subscription. Trial availability and terms can vary by region and eligibility.
Billing and Cancellation
Charges, renewal timing, cancellation and refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple’s applicable policies. Deleting Yomirika does not automatically cancel a subscription.
Availability
We may update, change, suspend or discontinue parts of Yomirika when reasonably necessary. Some features, including speech voices and widget refreshes, depend on iOS and Apple system behavior.
Intellectual Property
Yomirika’s app design, branding, software and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the app only as permitted by these Terms and Apple’s applicable terms.
Third-Party Content and Vocabulary Sources
Vocabulary information and classifications may include third-party content. Attribution and source information are available on the Sources & Attribution page. Third-party materials remain subject to their applicable licenses and terms.
Disclaimer
Yomirika is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that the app will meet every learning need.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yomirika and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the app.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the developer’s place of establishment, except where mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will be posted here with a new updated date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
